Radiopticon is the most complexly altered device in the Repositories Series. It consists of an early photograph projector that was used to show postcards in the early 1900’s. It travels the exhibition space on its robotic platform. projecting videos that critique the history of photography and its use as a memory trigger for lived events, contemporary and historical tourism, ecotourism, time travel, the economic implications of the globalization of tourism, etc. When the robot senses someone in the space, it turns around to show its screen and plays one of 150 video clips.
